The Soldiers Table Introduced
Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.
The combat-focused team consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.
Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.
Why They Must Go
To begin with, the team understands precisely where to go next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
Casimir then settled his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks vengeance.
- The adventurer has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
- But, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could assist the group reach locations they usually can’t.
- Additionally, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
- Tyranny and The cleric defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
- Teor is marked for death by the clan.
This results in them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.
